How pickup works
Pickup for your ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side is a straightforward process with Desert Drive. We often utilize a small flatbed truck or trailer for collection, ensuring your vehicle is transported securely. Depending on your location in the Las Vegas area, we can coordinate with you for a convenient pickup time. If your off-road vehicle doesn't have a title, we can still help with a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) or bill of sale. Our team is here to handle the logistics while you focus on your next adventure!
What drives donation value
The value of your donated ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side is influenced by several factors. Generally, units with more hours of use than mileage attract higher values, particularly for four-stroke engines. Models like the Polaris RZR and Can-Am UTVs tend to hold their value well in the used market. Well-maintained vehicles with documented service histories fetch better prices. While minor cosmetic damage like dents or fading may lower the value, a fully operational unit can command a premium. Even non-running vehicles hold parts value, making your donation worthwhile.
Documentation you need
- Title for the vehicle (if available)
- Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) for off-road vehicles
- Bill of sale to confirm ownership
- Service records, if available
- IRS Form 8283 for appraisals on classic models
Las Vegas specifics
In Las Vegas, Nevada, off-road vehicles often require specific documentation for title transfers. ATVs and UTVs that are off-road only typically don't have a title; instead, a bill of sale or MSO is acceptable. This means the donation process can be seamless, allowing you to support Desert Drive without the hassle of title complications. Understanding local DMV rules helps ensure your donation is processed smoothly, allowing us to maximize the impact of your generosity.
